Your role
As the Head of Sales at Turnkey, you'll own the execution and scaling of Turnkey’s sales function, leading our existing Sales team while refining our GTM strategy. You’ll work closely with our marketing, product and engineering teams to acquire new clients while optimizing the sales process — owning deal execution from kickoff to close, establishing and tracking key metrics, and continuously improving how we operate. This is a player-coach role that requires a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and scale Turnkey’s sales function, reporting directly to the CEO and owning metrics, processes, coaching and hiring.
- Refine and execute our GTM strategy, ensuring we’re targeting the right clients and operating efficiently as a team
- Become an expert in Turnkey’s developer-first product offering, guiding top tier clients in their decision processes
- Identify new segments and targets, leverage your network to get in touch, and push deals to close
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure we evolve our product in line with sales feedback
- Establish key performance metrics and regularly report on sales performance
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of driving growth at a fast-growing startup
- Experience leading and scaling a sales team, particularly in infrastructure-, API-, or other developer-focused products
- Proficiency in both enterprise sales and high-velocity sales motions, with strong consultative selling skills
- Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem and its unique challenges
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling abilities
