Your role
As the first Technical Support Engineer at Turnkey, you’ll be at the heart of helping our customers succeed — the person who knows every corner or our platform and can jump between debugging customer code, enhancing our docs, creating demo apps and examples, and even contributing to SDK improvements. This hybrid role blends hands-on technical implementation, proactive customer support, and strategic product influence.
You’ll work closely with both Product Success and the rest of the Product & Engineering team to transform customer feedback into product improvements while helping developers build amazing applications with Turnkey. This is a high-impact role where you’ll build broad technical expertise while shaping a foundational function for our growing customer base. With time, you’ll have the opportunity to scale your influence and grow into a leadership role as our customer base expands.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to debug issues, assist with integration challenges, and provide hands-on support for implementing Turnkey.
- Proactively identify and execute on ways to improve the Turnkey developer experience. Build starter templates, update technical docs, and contribute code to our SDKs to help developers get up and running faster.
- Act as a bridge between customers and the Turnkey product, identifying recurring issues or friction points and working as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering to prioritize fixes and product improvements.
- Streamline support processes: Implement tools and practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of technical support at Turnkey.
What we’re looking for
- Resourceful, hands-on problem solver obsessed with getting to the bottom of issues and knocking down customer problems
- Self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, tackling diverse challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset
- 5+ years of technical support, 2+ years of direct engineering experience, or equivalent work experience
- Deep intellectual curiosity; solving a problem isn’t enough — you strive to understand its root cause and eliminate it
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with the confidence to learn on the fly and leverage available tools effectively
- Enthusiastic about crypto, with a desire to grow into a swiss-army knife of technical expertise in the space
